Kathryn Fanchi, MA
Kathryn Fanchi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Washington. She holds a Masters Degree of Counseling at Western Seminary.
Her experience includes work with adolescents and adults surrounding issues of family and relationships, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance use and addiction. Her work has spanned different settings: college, residential treatment and outpatient services.
Kathryn has a creative approach, valuing empathy, thoughtfulness, and innovation.
In her practice, she prioritizes collaboration, believing in the importance of having a strong therapeutic relationship that creates a foundation of safety and respect.
She uses a variety of techniques, helping clients identify strengths and resources that are already available, while integrating coping skills, tools with communication and brainstorming new solutions as well as addressing underlying pain.
She has an interest and background in creative arts and integrates varied activities as seen fit primarily in work with adolescents. She also has experience and training in spiritual development and is attuned to ways spirituality can relate to mental health.
