Who I Work With
Individuals (adults 21+) seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions, including separation or divorce, etc . I also work with people healing from relationships that felt emotionally hurtful or controlling. Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, trust your instincts, and build relationships that feel steadier, more mutual, and supportive.
Couples facing relationship distress, infidelity and trust repair, remarriage or new partnerships, and the challenges that can come with blended families. I also support couples who feel stretched by changing roles, growing responsibilities, and the demands of everyday life, especially when it becomes harder to feel close and connected. Therapy can offer space to slow things down, understand the patterns that keep you stuck, and begin creating a steadier, more secure emotional connection with one another.
I also provide premarital and pre-commitment counseling, as well as relationship enrichment for couples who want to deepen their understanding of one another and strengthen their connection.
My Approach to Therapy
My work is grounded mainly in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT looks beyond communication problems and coping skills to the deeper feelings, needs, and patterns that shape how we relate to others and to ourselves. In therapy, we slow these patterns down without blame or judgment and work to understand what is happening underneath. This can help reduce distress, heal old hurts, and build more secure and caring relationships with others and with yourself.
Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator
I use the Prepare/Enrich Assessment tool for couple therapy, premarital/ pre - commitment counseling, and relationship enrichment. Each partner completes the assessment online, and we review the results together. The assessment shows your relationship strengths and the areas where stress, conflict, or misunderstandings may come up. It looks at communication, conflict, connection, roles, finances, family influences, values, goals, and personality patterns. This gives us a clear starting point and helps keep our work focused, practical, and useful as you build a stronger relationship.
I hold a deep commitment to creating a space where every identity feels welcomed, where your lived experience is honored, and where you can show up exactly as you are. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start ; you just need a space where you feel safe to begin .
