Jessica Kingrey, LMHC
Jessica completed her Master of Arts in Counseling degree at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH60844519). Jessica has over seven years of experience working in the mental health field and has worked and interned in a variety of settings including residential treatment for youth, outpatient services for college students and community based treatment for children and families. Jessica has served clients with PTSD, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, complex trauma and attachment issues and has provided support to clients who are adjusting to difficult seasons in life.
Jessica enjoys working with adults, teens, children and families. She specializes in the treatment of trauma through EMDR, and also utilizes Cognitive and Narrative approaches. In her work with children Jessica utilizes non-directive play therapy and expressive arts. At the heart of Jessica’s work is the therapeutic relationship, which is the true driver of change and healing.
Jessica is passionate about counseling and believes in empowering people to find healing and strength to move forward in a way that fits wherever they may be in the process.
